Daytona - Grail for me

After getting into the Rolex Professional watch fever, I think I should go get that "grail of Rolex sport watches" - the Daytona. At first, the black dial was the obvious choice. But I soon realised the polished hands do not contrast well with the glossy black dial, telling the time will be painful.
On the contrary, the white porcelain-like dial stands out elegantly and makes the red word "Daytona" an outstanding mantelpiece.
What initially irks me was the polished centre links. This was one of the main motivation I sold my GMT Master II. After warming up to the Daytona, it dawns upon me how the polished centre links blend with the overall attitude of this timepiece.
